It’s the final week of Disaster Month on Or Is It? and we’re going out – not with a bang – but with an eruption . . . eventually. Dante’s Peak stars Pierce “James Bond” Brosnan and Linda “Sarah Connor” Hamilton as a couple forced together to save a quiet mountain town from a volcanic disaster. It also “stars” a grandma who can survive swimming in lava, a town council even dumber than the one in Jaws, two rotten, shitty kids who are flabberghasted by falling dominoes, and less lava than the short before Pixar’s Inside Out. If there ever was a place that deserved to get burned down, it’s North Korea but this town is a close second!
