2015 RetroSPOOKtive – Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)

After Halloween II, the film company wanted to take the Halloween series in a different direction. They wanted to tell different stories with different characters in kind of an anthology-style series of movies. Halloween III: Season of the Witch is certainly a different movie. Dr. Detective Pornstar meets a woman who brings lingerie to identify her father’s dead body at a mask factory. With the help from an overzealous salesman, they uncover a plot to kill kids across the country by crushing their heads into bugs and snakes. Throw in Stonehenge, sexual harassment, and robots who bleed orange juice and you’ve got Halloween III! I smell Oscar!
