Yes, seriously. Look, we love this movie. It was a staple of our childhood and a pillar of our TMNT fandom. Hell, it’s probably still the best TMNT movie ever made. But it’s not just about bad movies on this show. It’s about movies that could have alternative stories. And 1990’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fits that definition perfectly. It’s the beginning and reporter April O’Neil meets up with four mutant turtles and a mutant rat. Together, they take on the evil Shredder and . . . his gang of unruly teens? They’re mean, green, and on the screen (sort of)! Cowabunga!
