The much maligned Katherine Heigl is a no-nonsense television show producer who is unfamiliar with the normal ways of dating. Gerard Butler is an apparent foul-mouthed sexist pig with a late night dating advice show. Can these two work together and will they fall in love? Yes. Because that’s how this shitty genre of movies works.
