Or Is It? – Signs

M. Night Shyamalan makes his return to Or Is It? with Signs from 2002. Mel Gibson is a former preacher whose farm is invaded by aliens. It has all of the earmarkings of a Shyamalan film. Moodiness, people being positively right with completely random theories, and good actors being forced into really bad performances. Alien invasion movies are some of best campy movies ever made but when you get the director of The Last Airbender behind the helm, you get a story that would be shameful for the cheapest of Atari games. Which makes it perfect for Or Is It?
