Taking an actor known for his comedies and putting him into a dramatic role can be a difficult task. But Jim Carrey proved he could do it with The Truman Show, Man on the Moon, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. However, there are exceptions to every rule. The Number 23 is that exception. It’s a weird, dry, overly-dramatic movie that’s not sure if it wants to be a thriller/horror or film noir. And blurring that line, makes for a very odd project. But is there a REAL story behind the story. If anyone can find it, we can!
