Is there a better movie in the world than a 1990s Nick Cage movie? I submit that there isn’t. Cage teams up with the nearly equally over-the-top John Malkovich and John Cusack for a movie about convicts taking over a prisoner transport airplane to make an elaborate escape. And if that insane plot wasn’t enough, consider the all-star supporting cast: Ving Rhames, Dave Chappelle, Steve Buscemi, Danny Trejo, Monica Potter, and . . . Colm Meaney. Well 5 out of the 6 ain’t bad.
