The Blair Witch Project brought found footage movies to the mainstream in 1999. In 2008, Cloverfield made moviegoers say “We’ve had enough!” The ultimate in shaky-cam, milk-toast characters, and not showing the monster, Cloverfield is the story of one man trying to save his lady-love while being helped (re: hindered) by his sister, his friend, and some chick from a party. We delve into the stupid, the boring, and the storyline lore of this found footage movie that is actually found footage . . . filmed on a camera that cannot possibly exist.
