Canadian Movie Commentary – Fifty Shades Darker

Of course we checked out the second one, why wouldn’t we?  Mean Mark takes the second step into the cinematic world of mommy porn as he and Sean Taylor provide their commentary to Fifty Shades Darker.  Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey re-visit their relationship based on love, passion, and kinky-fuckery . . . fukery . . . fuckerry . . . I don’t know how that’s supposed to be spelled.

Here are the steps:

  1. Get your copy of Fifty Shades Darker. (You have the first one, don’t pretend you don’t own the second one!)
  2. Pause the movie once the Universal logo fades to white.
  3. Start the commentary.
  4. Unpause the movie when instructed.
  5. Sit back and enjoy!

Or Is It? – G.I. Joe: The Movie

Ah, the 80s.  G.I. Joe was one of the biggest toy brands on the market.  With a hit cartoon show on the airways, it was only a matter of time.  But failing to learn from Transformers and He-Man, G.I. Joe decided to use this movie to re-vamp their toy line up.  That’s never a good move.  Aside from that, this flag-waving tale about the Joes taking on plant/snake hybrid villains just doesn’t make sense . . . for a movie about humans taking on plant/snake hybrid villains.

Or Is It? – Santa With Muscles

Every year, we take a look at some of the silliest Christmas themed movies on Or Is It? and this year is no exception.  First up, Santa With Muscles starring “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan.  Hogan plays an asshole millionaire who gets knocked out and wakes up believing he’s Santa Claus.  Throw in the cliched “orphanage in peril” and you’ve got a 80s movie from a 90s time.  So whatcha gonna do when good ol’ St. Nick runs wild on you?

Or Is It? – Dick Tracy

Dick Tracy, the world’s best detective, finally brought to the silver screen in 1990.  This very colourful (VERY colourful) adaptation sees Big Boy (Al Pacino) want to takeover all businesses in the emptiest town in the world.  It’s up to Dick Tracy (Warren Beatty) to save the day, fix his relationship with his girlfriend, adopt a child, and bang Madonna.  This was successful movie in 1990 and, for the life of us, we can’t understand why.
