This time around there’s a huge planet-eating monster in outer space called Galactus heading to Earth being led by his herald, The Silver Surfer. But there’s no time to worry about impending doom when there’s a wedding to plan! Yes, Reed Richards and Sue Storm are trying for the fourth time to get married. But the military, who are rightly more concerned about the death of everyone on Earth, interrupts and begs for the help from these “superheroes”. Do they respond to the call? Well, yes . . . but only kind of.

Taking an actor known for his comedies and putting him into a dramatic role can be a difficult task. But Jim Carrey proved he could do it with The Truman Show, Man on the Moon, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. However, there are exceptions to every rule. The Number 23 is that exception. It’s a weird, dry, overly-dramatic movie that’s not sure if it wants to be a thriller/horror or film noir. And blurring that line, makes for a very odd project. But is there a REAL story behind the story. If anyone can find it, we can!

This is the movie no one saw that was based on a comic no one read published by a company that made the books you read for book reports in elementary school. This movie is so batshit crazy, Spice World doesn’t even come close.
